Science and Religion v Spirituality and Health v Character Development v Business and Spirituality
January/February 2005
Issue 18
Our spring books offer you a new opportunity to revisit favorite authors and investigate new concepts.
There are two new paperbacks available this season. We are offering an incredible book, Inside the Mind of God, in paperback format to accompany the other books edited by Michael Reagan: The Hand of God and Reflections on the Nature of God. These three books offer inspiration and awe in the form of photographs juxtaposed to words of wisdom. We are also pleased to make available a new paperback edition of Faithful Finances 101 by Gary Moore, who is also the author of Spiritual Investments.
Time and Eternity: The Question of Time in Church, Natural Science, and Theology by Antje Jackelén is a new English translation of an outstanding scholarly book that has previously been available only in German or Swedish.
Barbara Elliott provides us with Equipping the Saints: A Guide for Giving to Faith-Based Organizations, an excellent companion volume to her 2004 book, Street Saints.
Spiritual Information: 100 Perspectives on Science and Religion, edited by Charles l. Harper, is a collection of essays in honor of Sir John Templeton’s ninetieth birthday.
We continue to search for new ways to expand and increase our knowledge of spiritual realities through the books we publish. We appreciate your continuing support and welcome suggestions and comments.

The Press is now offering its books in an audio format, beginning with ten titles that will be available this spring. These books represent a selection of the inspirational titles such as Golden Nuggets, works by Sir John Templeton, and some of the spirituality and health books that will have a broad appeal to our readers. They will be available as CDs in an attractive package.
The audio books can be ordered the same way as our other publications: through bookstores, directly on the web site, or by calling or faxing our distribution center in Chicago. We hope that you enjoy this new way of experiencing new horizons of information and inspiration.

Street Saints
By Barbara Elliott
“Readers are given not only engaging portrayals of exemplary social activists, but also outlines of their innovative, relevant programs which can serve as models for ones in other urban centers.” —Midwest Book Reviews, October 2004
Michael Heller
“Michael Heller brings to his reflections on science and religion a depth of knowledge, thought and experience that is highly unusual.” —First Things, October 2004
Thrift and Generosity
By John Marks Templeton Jr., MD
“Of the about 165,000 books being published each year, some are inane and some are life- changing. In the later category is a book by John M. Templeton Jr. . . . It is impossible to read this book without getting inspiration, helpful advice, and insight.”
—Oklahoman, October 2004
“The selfless, timeless values illuminated here bear repeating.”
—Religion BookLine, October 2004
Cosmic Blueprint
New Discoveries in Nature’s Ability to Order the Universe
By Paul Davies
“The value of the book, however, is not in the theology that concludes the argument, but the argument itself that ‘the universe can be understood by application of the scientific method’ and that such a scientific explanation supports creation through the very complexities, even the chaos of evolution itself. How? Read the book!”
—Catholic Book Review, December 2004
